As previously reported, Everton is hosting a match at Goodison Park to honour the memory of Bradley Lowery. The game will be held September 3, at 3pm local time.
Tony Bellew and Katie Price will coach the teams and we expect Calum Best, Jeremy Lynch, James Argent, Shayne Ward, and former Toffee youth Lee Latchford-Evans to be among the people playing.
Tickets go on sale August 2, will be £10 for adults and £5 for youth and can be found by going to this link at that time.
It’s an unmitigated honour to write for a club that is willing to do something like this. Bradley’s story touched the heart of everyone who followed it. Even selecting images for this piece brought back memories of the joy that he brought to life and to the sport. The days where he was too sick to make it out to a game were worse than finding out your favourite player was going to be out for the most important match of the season.
Though his time here on earth was short, Bradley had a more profound impact on this earth than many people ten times his age. This celebrity game ensures that his impact becomes a legacy, as the proceeds will go to the Bradley Lowery Foundation which seeks to cure neuroblastoma.
