Real Madrid could sell Vinicius for Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe
Reports are making rounds in Spain that Real Madrid could sell Manchester United target ahead of the arrival of Paeis Saint-Germaine star, Kylian Mbappe.

All are expecting the Frenchman to join Los Blancos next summer as a free agent – which is expected to be a dream move.

Having said he won’t renew his stay in the French capital, Mbappe has been linked with many clubs, but he has been tipped to join his dream club.

His arrival could create competition for Vinicuous, who likes attacking from the left side of the field like his Brazilian counterpart.

However, leaving France after seven years with PSG is not expected to lead to Vinicius’ exit as both use their feet effectively but prefer the right at most times.
According to a widespread report in Spain, Real Madrid is sure to be his next destination, although there is yet to be an official announcement that he will move to the Spanish side.
However, a bit of collateral from Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid could be Vinicius – who has been racially abused by opposition fans several times this season. This made the Brazil international miss out on a starting role for some weeks.

Spanish publication Nacional reported that this could be that he will be a ‘necessary sacrifice’ for the arrival of Mbappe and the club’s hierarchy will use it as an ‘excuse to fire one of Real Madrid’s stars’.

Real Madrid seems to be ‘tired’ of Vinicius’ ill-discipline and has received a ‘clear warning’ over the number of yellow cards he has picked up for complaining to referees this season. He has picked up five in total all-league campaigns.

Reports claimed that Madrid president Florentino Perez is already beginning to consider its sale for the future. Before making a final decision, he ‘wants to try to improve his attitude first by recommending a personal coach to help him psychologically.

Nacional reported that his recent displays are ‘an obvious sign that Vinicius is lacking discipline, but they do give him some hope by claiming that ‘next season will be his last chance.’
Some sources said that new Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is ‘interested’ in taking Vinicius to Old Trafford, with the Red Devils ‘preparing an offer of €200m (£172m)’ for the Real Madrid winger.

If they succeed in bringing him to Old Trafford, it would be ‘the second most expensive signing in football history behind Neymar’s deal to go to PSG and ‘the largest offer in the history of the Red Devils.
