Josh Kipkemboi plays in the (EFL) League Two .
Kenyan international Josh Kipkemboi Lelan helped his team Crowley Town to all three points in an English Football League (EFL) League Two match played away to Barnet on Saturday 23 September. With manager Harry Kewell heaping praise on his defenders before the game.
Lelan capped once by Harambee Stars, played the whole ninety minutes alongside defensive partner Josh Yorwerth as the Reds sealed their third win of the season. The win now sees Crawley move up to 17th on the 24 team log with 10 points from nine games played.
Kewell is quoted as saying by the Crawley Observer, “I actually felt we’ve dealt with a lot of people’s (teams) strikers over the last few weeks. Josh Yorwerth and Josh Lelan have been fantastic.
More Than Enough
“We had a difficult task last week (against Notts County) with the two strikers and I felt we did more than enough. But as far as playing-wise, ability-wise in the air, about playing out, I felt we have competed, I don’t feel any striker has dominated my two centre-halves.”
He also went ahead to applaud the work-rate that his defenders have exhibited so far in the season.
