Who will be next Real Madrid manager?

Los Blancos have been managerless since Zinedine Zidane’s shock departure five days after beating Premier League giants Liverpool in the Champions League final.

The Frenchman opted to call it quits after picking up his third successive win in the competition.

Reports coming out of Spain today suggest that Madrid have sounded out former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas over the position.

Villas-Boas flopped at Chelsea having taken over from Jose Mourinho in 2011, and fared little better at Spurs, finishing fifth in 2012/13, a point behind Arsenal.Gareth Bale was sold that summer and Villas-Boas’ replacements did not stand up to the task and he was sacked in December of 2013.

Spells at Zenit St Petersburg and Shanghai SIPG followed and now, out of work, Madrid are reported to have made an approach for him.
