Southampton will be looking for their first win of the season when Claude Puel returns to Saint Mary’s.
Mark Hughes’ men battled out a 0-0 draw against Burnley before suffering defeat at Everton in their opening two fixtures.
Boss Puel will be trying to show Southampton what they are missing after he was sacked after just one season in charge. The Frenchman was given the chop last summer despite finishing eighth in the league and was heavily criticised for his defensive tactics.
Southampton have won just one of their last 12 Premier League matches at St Mary’s – beating south coast rivals Bournemouth 2-1 in April (W1 D6 L5). Saints have also failed to score in four of their last six at home in the top-flight.
Leicester City have lost their last four away games in the Premier League. They last endured a longer losing away run in the competition between September and December 2014 (7 defeats), which also included a 0-2 defeat at Southampton.
Leicester City will be without the suspended Jamie Vardy; since the start of last season Vardy has scored 12 away Premier League goals, double that of any other player at the club
