Miguel Angel Jiminez is targeting further glory at Cran-sur-Sierre when he plays in the Omega European Masters this week.

The Spaniard won the event in 2010 on a course he has fallen in love with, when he shot 21-under over the four days, and he believes another win in Switzerland could be on the cards.

Jimenez disappointed last week when he missed the cut at the Wales Open, but he is still feeling confident following some good performances in recent weeks.

The 49-year-old put on a good show at the Open Championship at Muirfield, while he also finished fourth at the WGC-Bridgestone.

Jimenez has yet to win in 2013 but a victory could be just around the corner on one of his favourite courses.

The course suits his game well and Jimenez is also looking forward to the delightful surroundings.

“It’s a great venue. You would never think there is a golf course up there in the mountains,” he said. They did a fantastic job when they created the course.

“At Crans, you must hit the ball in the right place and hit it very, very straight. You must have control of the ball. I love it.”
