World Cup-winning striker Ronaldo has praised Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and feels he is only going to get better as a player.

Hazard has enjoyed his best season to date for the Blues and has already scored 13 goals from 30 Premier League appearances and two more in other competitions.

The Belgium international will again be the star turn in the side on Tuesday night as Chelsea face Galatasaray, who are on offer at 8.48 to win the game, in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie, with the score nicely poised at 1-1 after the first leg in Istanbul.

He has been compared to both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi at times this term, with his ability to beat players and unleash powerful shots on goal.

And Ronaldo feels that the 23-year-old will keep improving and has backed him to shine on the world stage later this year.

“He’s a very good player and seems to be doing a wonderful job in Chelsea,” he told RWD Football. “His hat-trick performance against Newcastle gave him more confidence. He’s very young but very talented so am sure he will do well at the World Cup.”

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will hope that his star midfielder is on top form against the Turkish outfit as they are desperate to progress in Europe’s elite club competition and can be backed at 1.38 to win the game.

Ashley Cole looks set to miss out due to knee injury but David Luiz could return after recovering from a groin injury and might replace Nemanja Matic in midfield who is cup-tied.

Ramires and Willian are free to play despite their domestic dismissals at Aston Villa on Saturday.
