Eden Hazard has attempted to put an end to speculation linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain by insisting he wants to stay at Chelsea long term.

Reports in January claimed PSG were hoping to pull off an audacious swoop for the Belgium international and it was claimed the playmaker was said to be interested in the move.

The mega-rich French champions are believed to be plotting a summer bid for Hazard as they aim to sign the world’s best talent, but they are likely to be left disappointed in their pursuit.

Hazard has been impressive for Jose Mourinho’s men this season as they aim for the Premier League title.

The Blues boss described the former Lille man as “the best young player in the world” recently and Hazard insists he has no plans to leave Stamford Bridge as he hopes to achieve plenty of success with the club in the future.

“There was never a question of leaving Chelsea,” Hazard told L’Equipe. “I feel good at this club, and I still have a lot of things to do here.

“I’m flattered to read that PSG are interested in me. But that doesn’t worry me. I am certain of what I have in mind, where I’m going. No-one will change my mind. The objective is to be the best with Chelsea.”

Hazard has managed 12 goals so far this season and appears to be going from strength to strength ahead of what is a crucial couple of months for Mourinho’s side.

On Saturday they go to Manchester City in the FA Cup fifth round (City 2.15, Chelsea 3.25, draw 3.26) before a home game with top-four chasing Everton in the Premier League on February 22, and then a last-16 first-leg clash at Galatasaray in the Champions League four days later.
