Olivier Giroud is expecting Everton to fight until the death and says Arsenal still have work to do if they are to qualify for the Champions League.

Everton looked to be in the box seat to take fourth place as Arsenal started to falter but following defeats to Crystal Palace and Southampton, the Toffees themselves have been feeling the heat.

The Gunners have also got their act together and going into tonight’s home clash with Newcastle, their destiny is firmly in their own hands.

Everton also have to play Manchester City at home but Giroud says they have to stay focused on their own performances and see the job out.

“We know that Everton will be here until the end, so we just have to keep focused on our performance and our game,” said the France international.

“We know that if we win every single game, then we have the destiny in our own hands, so we have to do the job and win these games.

“Everton will not leave us alone until the end. It will be an exciting finish.”

The Gunners are hot 1.21 favourites to win the game against a Newcastle side who are on a shocking run of form and are priced at 13.42 to cause an upset. The draw is 6.71.
