Hull KR have boosted their ranks for next season with the capture of France international Kevin Larroyer.
The 24-year-old has arrived on a season-long loan deal from Super League rivals the Catalan Dragons and will hook up with the Robins at the end of the Rugby League World Cup.
Rovers have paid Catalan a loan fee for the highly-rated forward and head coach Craig Sandercock is delighted with the capture.
Sandercock believes Larroyer is a star of the future and will add strength and quality to his ranks for next season.
“Kevin is a good, young player and we are very excited to have been able to get him on board,” said Sandercock.
“He has a tremendous future in the game and myself and the rest of the coaching staff are really looking forward to working with him.
“I’d also like to put on record my thanks to the Catalan Dragons for allowing us to take Kevin on loan for next season.”
The Rovers fans will be able to get an early glimpse of their new signing when he plays for France against Papua New Guinea in the World Cup on Sunday.
