Celtic star Moussa Dembele says his injury problems are now over and he is eager to continue his scoring run.
The Frenchman missed the opening weeks of the campaign due to a hamstring injury and Dembele is keen to make his mark now he has returned to action.
Dembele has managed four goals in his last two appearances, including a brace in a 30 minute cameo against Hibernian in the League Cup, and 21-year-old hopes he can continue his scoring run.
He told the Daily Record: “I’m fit. Since I came back from [treatment in] France I’ve been fit but I just had to wait for my time to play.
“Every time the gaffer has given me a bit, I have tried to do my best and at Aberdeen [in the Premiership on Tuesday] I scored two.
“As a striker you have to be in the box because that is where you score goals. I just try to be there.
“I am happy for the team, first and foremost, we got the win.
The whole team contributed to the game and I hope we can continue in that way.”
Celtic take on Kilmarnock on Saturday and Dembele is 3.00 to score the first goal of the game, while Celtic are 7.50 to win 4-0.
