Ahead of their Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday, Tottenham midfielder Sandro believes that Philippe Coutinho will be the man his side have to watch out for.

With the Reds enjoying their best start to a league campaign for some time, the Merseyside outfit will head to White Hart Lane hopeful of taking a positive result back to the north west.

Liverpool will be without talisman Steven Gerrard after the skipper was ruled out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury picked up in their 4-1 victory over West Ham last weekend.

Manager Brendan Rodgers will also have to do without England forward Daniel Sturridge, who won’t return from an ankle injury until the new year.

However, Rodgers has in Luis Suarez the in-form player in the Premier League, with the Uruguayan already bagging himself 15 league goals this season.

Many eyes will be on Suarez in north London this weekend but Spurs midfielder Sandro is more concerned about his fellow Brazilian Coutinho.

Sandro has compared to the Reds playmaker to Brazil star Ronaldinho and believes his side will have to work hard to keep Liverpool’s No.10 quiet.

He told the Daily Mirror: “He does the same as Ronaldinho. You think he’s going to do one thing and he does something completely different. He changes.

“Ronaldinho was the best player but I think their style is similar. I’m happy for him. He is young but he [has started] good at Liverpool. It is difficult to do that at Liverpool.”
