Tottenham skipper Hugo Lloris admits he and his team-mates will be looking for revenge when they travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The two teams will meet in the quarter-finals of the competition, with Spurs desperate to bounce back after their north London derby defeat.

Arsenal recorded a 4-2 win over Spurs at the start of this month and there was issues both on and off the pitch. Lloris was unable to help his team get a result and Arsenal’s players bragged about the win on social media.

The France international admits his team cannot afford to switch off and he has taken confidence with Spurs’ recent form. Mauricio Pochettino have won their last three league games and also qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League and Lloris is ready to get revenge this week.

“Maybe it’s the good thing that we lost the Premier League game a few weeks ago because it is more motivation for us,” Lloris told reporters. “There is no more bad feeling than when you get a defeat.

You always try to analyse and make things that we will not repeat again. It is another opportunity and we will try our best to go through.

“Every game that you lose it hurts, but of course when you lead 2-1, it’s true that Arsenal is playing very well this season and it is a difficult team to beat but I think we have the quality to do it.”

Arsenal are 2.40 favourites, with the draw 3.50, while Spurs are 2.75 to grab the victory.
