Dejan Lovren believes Liverpool’s attacking prowess means they can now go on to win the Premier League title.

Questions may still remain regarding Lovren and his fellow defenders, but there are no doubts over the quality of those ahead of them.

Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah have all impressed so far this season and Jurgen Klopp’s men are only expected to continue their ascent when the likes of Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho return from injury.

Sunday’s 4-0 demolition of Arsenal was probably the Reds’ best performance since Jurgen Klopp took charge in October 2015, with their attacking triumvirate running the Gunners’ rearguard ragged.

The return of Champions League football to Anfield means Klopp will be forced to rotate over the coming months, but his current forward trio look to have the pace, skill and intelligence to scare any defence in Europe.

Liverpool are currently 11.00 to win the Premier League, with European glory available at 19.00.

Lovren believes the Reds’ current attacking line-up is unparalleled in the Premier League.

“For me, they are the best, they caused Arsenal a lot of problems,” he said.

It’s a long season and we will see towards the end of the season who is in the first place, but you can see the difference those three players [Mane, Firmino and Salah] make.

“All three of them are top players, they have pace and great quality.

They are amazing. It would be quite difficult for any defender when you are up against Salah, Mane and Firmino.”
