Leicester captain Wes Morgan insists his side are taking things one game at a time, starting with this weekend’s Premier League clash against Stoke.

The Foxes currently sit eighth in the Premier League standings while they booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 1-0 victory over Sheffield United last time out.

Things are certainly looking good for Claude Puel’s side, who will be aiming to finish the league campaign as strongly as possible, but Morgan insists his side are not looking too far ahead, particularly following their 5-1 hammering at the hands of Manchester City in their last league fixture.

“It was very disappointing day for us and, even though we came up against probably the best team in the Premier League this season, we still expect better of ourselves,” Morgan told the club’s website.

“It’s about putting that behind us and the only way we can do that is by getting a positive result in our next game against Stoke and we want to show what we can do.

“It’s pretty tight and we don’t want to look too far ahead. We’ll keep going as we are, we’ll keep picking up points and we’ll see where we are at the end of the season.”

Morgan did not play in the City defeat – he has missed the Foxes’ last five league games due to a hamstring injury – but he is in line to feature at the King Power Stadium against Stoke this weekend.

Leicester are priced at 1.75 to secure all three points while the Potters are available at 5.00 and the draw is on offer at 3.75.
