Eden Hazard has refused to rule out the possibility of joining Real Madrid in the future although he insists he is happy at current club Chelsea.
The Belgium international has long been linked with a move to the Bernabeu and his eye-catching performances this season have only added to that speculation.
The 27-year-old has netted 13 goals and provided a further nine assists across all competitions for the Blues this term and has confirmed he is happy at Stamford Bridge while refusing to rule out a potential move to Real at some stage of his career.
“In football you never know. I’m happy at Chelsea, and focused on them,” Hazard told Marca.
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane has previously talked up the qualities of Hazard and the former Lille man admits it is always nice to receive praise, particularly from someone he looked up to as a child. “Of course it is incredible,” Hazard added.
“I remember 10 years ago, when he first spoke about me, it was incredible.
“He was my idol when I was a child, I have seen thousands of videos about him and now he is the manager of one of the best clubs in the world.”
Hazard’s immediate focus remains on helping Chelsea secure a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.
The Blues are next in action when they play host to West Brom on Monday and they are priced at 1.36 to secure all three points from that contest, while the struggling Baggies are available at 9.00 and the draw is on offer at 4.75.
