Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists his side can get a result at Manchester City on Saturday but is well aware the Clarets are the underdogs.

Burnley are 26.00 to claim the win on Saturday, a draw is 10.00 and City can be backed at 2.50 with a -3 handicap.

City spent heavily again in the summer, splashing out huge fees to bring in the likes of Kyle Walker, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy.

Burnley broke their transfer record to snare Chris Wood for a more modest fee, reported to be £15million, and Dyche accepts the Turf Moor side simply cannot compete financially.

However, the Clarets are unbeaten on the road this term with eight points from their trips to Burnley, Spurs, Liverpool and Everton – and Dyche stressed they will be looking for another big result at City.

“It’s not a freebie as far as we’re concerned, within our camp, but you can see why people would say that, of course you can,” he said.

“If you’re spending £100m on two full-backs then you’re at the top end of the market.

It always makes it a challenge when you’re go up against high quality opponents.

“People from outside will say we’ve got no chance but we’ve been in those ‘no chance’ situations before.

“We get on with what we do and concentrate on us.” Burnley are 67.00 to win 1-0 and Wood is 15.00 to score first.
