After signing a new deal, Napoli may have to sell striker Victor Osimhen next summer as interest in his service continues to be strong.

After signing a new deal with the Pertonopei, many had believed that the interest in his service would cool off.

The Nigerian striker, who is presently representing his country at the African Nations Cup in Ivory Coast, has been ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea.
Recently, the Napoli star admitted that he has ‘already made a decision’ about his future.

‘Now, I want to finish the season strong,” he said in his latest interview with CBS.

Osimhen recently signed a contract extension with Napoli until 2026, which reportedly includes a release clause in the region of €120-130m.

With this latest interview, Osimhen appeared to confirm he would leave Napoli at the end of the season,

Speaking on the transfer speculation surrounding his future, he said for a striker like him, “You expect these types of things.”

The striker, who noted that the Premier League is one of the biggest leagues in the world, said he is enjoying his time at the club.

“I am at Napoli. I signed a new contract, and I am enjoying my time there. I already know what I want to do at the end of the season. I already knew what I wanted to do in my career since I started, and I want to make my own decision.
“I already know what I want to do and the next steps I want to take. I want to finish the season strong and then come up with a decision I’ve already made.”
Osimhen emerged as Serie A’s top scorer last season when he contributed to Napoli’s first Serie A title in 33 years.

He has scored eight goals in 18 games across all competitions with Napoli.
He has also scored a goal in three games in AFCON for Nigeria.
