The fourth round of the English Premier League saw exciting newly-promoted side, Norwich City FC lose to West Ham.

The Canaries fell to a 2-0 defeat, goals from Sebastien Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko made the difference at Carrow Road. The match started brightly with both sides going for it.

However, the first goal came in 24th Minute from Haller after fine work from A. Masuaku finds the target for him (Haller) to poke in.

As the second half begins, the Canaries tried to rally round to equalize, only to find themselves down with another goal from Yarmolenko.

Norwich has had a week to forget. After home defeat by Chelsea last Saturday and an EFL Cup exit at Crawley during the week. They tried their best to resist the attacks from their hosts and find a way to break their defensive line.

That loss to Chelsea followed a comfortable 3-1 win over Newcastle, but they failed to replicate that form shown in that game.

Pukki, who came into the game with five goals in three games, was kept quiet mostly during the match and Norwich were short of answers once the hosts took the lead.

To add to their worries, the loss of Zimmermann left a big gap in defense that Weetham easily exploited throughout the match.

Things could have gone worse, but thanks to goalkeeper Tim Krul saving Manuel Lanzini’s close-range header before making a fine save from Anderson soon after. Sébastien Haller has now scored three goals in two games
