Italian broadsheet Il Mattino has reported that Napoli are looking to sell Goran Pandev at the end of the season.

Following the arrivals of Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens, the Macedonian has found his role in the side marginalised, although he has still managed 25 league appearances this season.

With Aurelio De Laurentiis likely to give boss Rafael Benitez a substantial transfer kitty this summer, it would appear that the 1.60 Italian Cup favourites will be bringing in plenty of faces, many of which will be in the attacking department as they try and narrow the gulf to league leaders Juventus.

With reinforcements imminent it has been made clear that the former Inter Milan striker is surplus to requirements.

After a successful five-year spell at Lazio sandwiched between two fairly forgettable stints with Inter Milan, the striker kickstarted his career at the Stadio San Paolo in 2012, going on to make 88 appearances for the club.

In what is set to be his last season for the club, Pandev has managed six goals and four assists in his 25 Serie A appearances.

Whether Pandev will remain in Italy is unclear but he does have potential suitors in both England and Spain.
