Miguel Britos believes Saturday’s clash against Bournemouth will provide Watford with the perfect chance to get back on track.
The Hornets suffered a sluggish start to the campaign under new boss Walter Mazzarri but soon found their groove in recording wins over West Ham and Manchester United.
However, they were brought back down to earn with a bump on Monday as they were outplayed in their defeat at Burnley.
Mazzarri’s men have a chance to somewhat redeem themselves on Saturday though, when they meet Bournemouth at Vicarage Road.
Watford are 2.38 to win the game, with both the draw and a win for Eddie Howe’s men priced at 3.20.
The Cherries won last weekend at home to Everton but often struggle on the road, having not tasted victory in their last five away matches in the Premier League, a run that stretches back to last season.
Britos admits his team were left frustrated by their display at Turf Moor but believes this weekend’s game gives them the ideal chance to produce an immediate response.
The Uruguayan told watfordfc.com: “We have another game at home and so we have to prepare every detail. We have to try to work hard and train well to play a good match and get the three points, that’s the most important thing.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to get three points. They are a good team; they like to play football, and so we know it will be a difficult game, but every game is difficult in the Premier League.”
He added: “Everyone has to prepare and we must work together to try to play like we did against Manchester United. We have to repeat this kind of performance.”
