Lionel Messi sees his future with Barcelona.

The 25-year-old Argentine had another successful season with the Catalans, notching 60 goals in 50 matches in all competitions in 2012-13.

Being with the club since 2000, Messi does not feel any weariness or itch to move to another club and start a new challenge. Instead, the forward wants to achieve more success both in domestic and continental competitions.

Though there would be many suitors if he decided to leave Barcelona, Messi declared that it has never crossed his mind.

He said: “I’ve never thought about playing at any other club than Barca.”

Messi finished the La Liga season as the top scorer, with 46 giving him a comfortable lead over Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo (34) and Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao (28).

Though they won the La Liga title this year, many feel that it is a disappointing season.

They were famously beaten 7-0 in the Champions League semifinals by Bayern Munich.

“Winning the league was very good, although the objective is always to win everything,” he said.

“There’s no need to dwell any more on what happened against Bayern. This season is over and we need to prepare to return at our best next season.”
