Mbappe trains with the first team after positive talks

Reports from France say Mbappe may sign a one-year extension after a positive talk between Paris Saint-Germain and his representatives over his contract situation.

Mbappe has less than 12 months in his remaining deal with Les Bleau and has stated that he is unwilling to sign a new deal and leave as a free agent next summer.

But PSG has clarified that either he signs a new deal or be sold to another club.
His dream club, Real Madrid, is monitoring the situation and seems not ready to present a bid
He recently turned down a talk with Saudi club Al-Hilal, who proposed a massive 395 million pound bid to PSG, saying the issue was about something other than money.

The situation also led to him being banned from training with the first team as the Paris club made the France captain watch the game on Saturday from the stands with France team-mate Ousmane Dembele, who joined PSG from Barcelona for £43.5m. He was also left out of the pre-season trip to Asia as the issue continued to linger.

But PSG on Sunday morning, in a statement, announced that the 23-year-old had been reintegrated into Luis Enrique’s first team squad after positive talks before the match against Lorient on Saturday evening.

“Following very constructive, positive talks between PSG and Kylian Mbappé before the game vs. Lorient, the player has been reinstated into the first team training squad this morning,” the club states.

During the post-match press conference, Enrique said there was nothing to say about it, having already said what he had to say in previous days.

PSG can now select him as they prepare for a trip to Toulouse next weekend to follow up on their opening Ligue 1 draw against Lorient.
