Millwall striker John Marquis has joined League Two outfit Portsmouth on a one-month emergency loan deal.
The 21-year-old, who made his only appearance of the season in the Capital One Cup Second Round tie away to Nottingham Forest, will train with his new team-mates on Friday ahead of their League clash with Fleetwood Town at Fratton Park on Saturday.
This is Marquis’ first loan spell away from the club having risen through the ranks at The Den.
Since his debut against Bristol Rovers in December 2009, the forward has made 48 appearances for Millwall and scored six goals.
