Mario Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola has refused to rule out a return to the Premier League with Arsenal reportedly very interested in his services.

Balotelli is currently on international duty with Italy but the AC Milan striker has been linked with a return to England ever since leaving Manchester City in January 2013.

He cost the Italian giants a reported £20million and managed to score 18 goals for them last season.

A number of clubs have been linked with the 23-year-old in the past with Arsenal and Liverpool thought to be keen this summer.

Despite courting plenty of controversy during his time in England, Balotelli showed glimpses of his undoubted top quality while playing at the Etihad Stadium.

AC Milan once again failed to qualify for Europe last season and that could be a major factor in Balotelli’s future. Last term Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger only used one main striker in Olivier Giroud and Gunners fans will be hoping he strengthens with a proven goalscorer over the summer.

Balotelli could be that man and showed on Saturday night what he can do as he scored a well-timed header to give Italy a 2-1 win over England in the World Cup. His agent, Raiola, has now refused to deny reports he could join Arsenal.

He told Sky Sports: “Arsenal is a fantastic club in London. Will a transfer happen? Anything is possible.”

“Only 10 clubs in the world maximum could afford Mario – like all premium players and he is one of the greatest.

“I won’t make any further comment until after the transfer window closes.”
