Brendan Rodgers believes Liverpool are in a good position to qualify for the Champions League after wrapping up another three points against Burnley at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge were on target in a 2-0 win to stay within two points of Manchester United who occupy the fourth and final Champions League place.

Liverpool are without doubt the form team in the division after picking up 30 points from a possible 36 and Rodgers says there is all to play for in the remaining 10 games of the season.

Southampton, Tottenham and Arsenal, along with Liverpool and United, are fighting for two Champions League places and Rodgers is ready for the battle over the remaining quarter of the campaign.

“Over the last three months the games have been coming thick and fast but the players have stood up to that and now we have 10 league games to go and it is a period of the season we will look forward to,” said Rodgers.

“We have put ourselves in a very good position. At this moment in time we are at a good level and we will continue with that.”

Liverpool take a break from the Premier League this weekend and will turn their focus to qualifying for the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Blackburn Rovers stand in their way, but with home advantage Liverpool are the hot 1.27 favourites to win the game, with the Championship side priced at 9.46 to cause an upset.
