Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel believes his side were guilty of overconfidence after their 2-1 home loss to Guingamp in the Coupe de la Ligue.

Neymar gave PSG a second-half lead after the visitors had missed a penalty but Guingamp scored twice in the last 10 minutes as the Brittany club claimed a famous win.

The defeat ended a 19-match unbeaten run for PSG and was their first domestic cup defeat in five years.

Tuchel has now demanded a response and he feels the French giants were complacent as they crashed out of the cup competition.

“We lost a game, but most of all an opportunity to win a trophy,” said Tuchel.

“We played with too much self-confidence during the whole game. We thought nothing could happen to us.”

He added: “We have to bounce back because we are PSG, a great club.”

The Parisian outfit travel to Amiens in Ligue 1 on Saturday and are 2.15 to win with a -2 handicap. The main target for Tuchel this season, aside from claiming the Ligue 1 crown, is the Champions League and PSG are 8.00 to win the tournament outright.

The French champions have been drawn against Manchester United in the last 16 and are 2.20 to win the first leg at Old Trafford on February 12. United are 3.10 to come out on top and a draw is 3.50.
