Lyon star Moussa Dembele is being scouted by Premier League side, Manchester United ahead of a potential switch next transfer window.

The England Outfit are currently struggling upfront after they sold Belgium forward Romelu Lukaku to Inter Millan during the summer as well as letting Alexis Sanchez on a season-long loan to the same club.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial who are meant to replace the Belgian and Chilean stars in the striking position are currently out injured and are both ruled out of Monday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal.

United Boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer according to Daily Mail, sees Dembele as a good fit to his team, also the United board are already plotting a January move for the highly-rated striker.

The Premier League side are said to have sent a scout to Lyon’s draw with Brest on Wednesday, where the 23-year-old got on the scoresheet with Ed Woodward who has been watching over the Red Devil’s transfer policy has reportedly sent someone to watch him during Lyon’s Sunday defeat against PSG, as well as last week’s Champions League draw with Zenit Saint-Petersburg.

Manchester United signed England center-back Harry Maguire from Leicester for £80m in a world-record fee for a defender as well as full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka [£50m], and winger Daniel James [£15m] considered bringing Dembele in over the summer but decided to put faith in their young forwards.

The United hierarchy also believes that adapting to the league won’t be a problem for Dembele as he already has the experience of playing in England, spending three years with Fulham before leaving for Celtic in 2016.

Dembele joined Lyon last summer in a deal close to £20m meaning United will have to fork out a significant fee to get their hands on the French man. He has scored with every shot on target he has produced so far in the 2019/20 campaign.
United on the other side have been struggling for goals lately, scoring four in their last four league outings, and they were reeling from their second defeat of the season away at West Ham last weekend.

Dembele will be hoping to get Lyon back to winning ways when his team take on Nantes at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

Manchester United will face Arsenal in their Premier League fixture, The Red Devils are backed at 2.32, while The Gunners are priced at 3.04 to emerge victorious.
