Manchester City had a 5-3 aggregate lead at Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday against Real Madrid before the home side turned the tables. Rodrygo found the back of the net in the 90th minute of the game after Karim Benzema did well to keep the ball in play with his left foot.

Rodrygo once again came up with a stellar goal as he headed the ball into the right corner after a fine assist from Dani Carvajal. Thus, Los Blancos was able to take the game into extra time when they looked down and out but they didn’t stop believing. The team’s captain Karim Benzema then scored through a penalty to score his 14th Champions League goal of the season and also put his team in front.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti was on cloud nine after his team did the impossible. Ancelotti added that other teams give up but they don’t throw in the towel that easily.

Speaking on Real Madrid Live, the manager said, “Other teams give up, we don’t.” He also added: “We have a magic that no other club has.”

Madrid was able to snatch a win from the jaws of defeat as they were well out of the contest. However, Rodrygo came up with a magical performance to keep his team alive in the contest. It was an unbelievable show from the Brazilian as he turned the corner after coming on as a substitute.

It was a stunning performance from Los Blancos as they surprised one and all with their amazing show. On the other hand, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was obviously disappointed as his team was cruising at one stage after Riyad Mahrez’s goal in the 73rd minute.

Real Madrid will now face Liverpool in the final of the UEFA Champions League. The final will be played on the 28th of May at the Stade de France in Paris.
