Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that his side is fully focused on the task ahead, which is to win the UEFA Champions League against Liverpool on May 28.

The Italian manager said these amidst growing speculation surrounding a potential transfer of French forward Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain to the Spanish Giants.

Real Madrid have been linked with Mbappe over the last two transfer windows, and the speculations have grown even more as the 23-year-old nears the end of his contract this summer.

The world cup winner will be out of contract with PSG In the summer, with reports saying that the forward will decide on his future which is most likely a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, in reaction to various speculations, some of which also indicate that Mbappe could be tempted to stay at PSG with various lucrative offers by owners, Ancelotti has revealed that he has not been talking about the player but rather focused on training and preparing for the jobs ahead.

“We’re used to these things. We’re focused. The atmosphere is very good. What happens outside and what’s talked about doesn’t affect us at all. Nobody asks me about [Mbappe]. I spend my time at [Madrid’s training ground] Valdebebas, in my car and at home. Sometimes I like to go to Madrid’s good restaurants, but nobody asks me about that… The only thing I have in mind is the final.” Ancelotti said.

Real Madrid will face Liverpool in the final of the UEFA Champions League schedule to be played at the Parc De Princes stadium in Paris on May 28. It will be a chance for the Los Blancos to win their 14th UEFA Champions League title as well as a double this season.
