Tony Mowbray is fully focused on helping Blackburn secure a fourth-straight League One victory when they visit AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.

Rovers’ run of form has seen them move to the top of the league standings and they can maintain their position at the summit if they gain a positive result at Kingsmeadow.

The Blue and Whites may also have revenge on their minds after they were beaten 1-0 by Wimbledon at Ewood Park earlier in the season. Mowbray insists his side are determined to secure all three points this time around.

“We will want to impose ourselves at Wimbledon,” Mowbray told Blackburn’s website.

“You have to have total respect for Wimbledon. We’ll go there to compete and the only thing we’re thinking about is getting those three points.”

Mowbray is also aware his players cannot afford to underestimate a Wimbledon side just two points clear of the relegation zone and knows they must embrace the prospect of playing at the smallest ground in the division.

“It’s an environment that you have to go into and relish,” he added.

“You can’t turn up and moan about the facilities. Wimbledon have built their history on being the underdogs and with Neal [Ardley] as the manager there, he’ll be breeding that feeling amongst his group as well.”

Blackburn are priced at 2.00 to secure victory while Wimbledon are available at 3.80 and the draw is on offer at 3.40.
