After crashing out of the Champions League and losing more ground in the La Liga title race this week, Martin Montoya has claimed Barcelona are mentally “screwed up”.

The Catalan giants fell to rivals Atletico Madrid (1.83 to reached the Champions League final) in Europe before falling to a shock defeat at relegation threatened Granada, to leave them off the pace in the battle for the title.

Gerardo Martino’s men are facing the prospect of a trophyless season, which would be for the first time since the 2007-08 campaign.

Montoya, who featured at right back in Saturday’s 1-0 loss, was not the only player to indicate that things are not right at the Nou Camp.

Andreas Iniesta was also critical, with the Spanish international stating: “It hurts to take this backward step at this point.”

Barca now face a crunch clash with Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final on Wednesday, with the two teams doing battle at Valencia’s Mastella stadium.

Dafabet still see Barca as the favourites to lift the trophy though, with the 26-time winners available at 1.82 and Real currently priced at 2.08.

Although the title is out of their hands, Barca will still have hope with five games left this term. Three home games remain, against Athletic Bilbao, Getafe and Atletico on the final day, with trips to Villarreal and Elche to come.
