Norwich City’s Finnish striker Teemu Pukki should be the transfer target for English Premier League promotion hopefuls, Leeds United according to former England international Danny Mills.

According to Danny Mills, the Finland striker who has been one of the Canaries influential players this season with 11 goals and three assists in Twenty five total goals that Daniel Farke’s men have scored so far in Twenty Nine games played so far.

Furthermore, the striker was highly influential as the Canaries secured promotion last season with nothing less than 30 goals and 10 assists in his forty-six appearances last season in all competitions as they went on to win promotion as champions of the Championship.

Meanwhile, this season, the Carrow Road side has been a struggler this current season in the English Premier League as they look set to return to the Championship as they sit in twentieth on the log after 29 games played and just nine matches left to play with 6 points away from safety.

According to Danny Mills, Pukki is a proven goalscorer and one that can get the job done for Leeds United especially with his position and how Leeds play.

The situation that would probably raise questions for Leeds is the choice of the Finn, whether or not he wants to leave or stay at Carrow Road and the price tag on him, Mills explained further.

However, he expressed his fear about the approach of the manager of Leeds United, Marcelo Bielsa to the recruitment. He stated that he may go totally for someone else revealing that whatever it is he decides, it is obvious there is a need for quality addition in the forward line for Leeds.

“But Bielsa is a funny one and a canny one at times. He could bring in somebody completely left-field. He may well use his contacts in South-America or Spain to bring in somebody.” he was quoted on Football Insider.

Leeds leads the Championship table with 71 points from 37 matches played, and Patrick Bamford has been the team’s major goal source with 13 goals this season in the Championship.
