Ryan Sessegnon says Fulham will head to Manchester United on Saturday in confident mood after their midweek draw with Leicester City.

Fulham are 8.50 to claim a win at Old Trafford, a draw is 5.00 and Manchester United are 1.36 to secure all three points.

The Cottagers enjoyed the majority of the chances against Leicester but had to settle for a point as they were held to a 1-1 draw.

Sessegnon has called on Fulham to be more clinical in front of goal, but he is convinced they can get a result at United.

The young forward also heaped the praise on new boss Claudio Ranieri and he says Fulham have improved since the Italian replaced Slavisa Jokanovic.

He told the club website: “You’ve seen in the last three games that Ranieri has been in charge that we’ve been very compact, very hard to beat and you could see Leicester were getting very frustrated.

“On the counter attack we looked dangerous, but we need to just put our chances away.

“Every game in this league is a hard game and we take each one step-by-step. It was a good team performance.”

He added: “I think we matched up with them really well and we’ll go again at United, which will be another tough game. “We’ll take the positives from the game into the weekend and keep building.”

Fulham remain bottom of the Premier League table despite managing four points in three games since Ranieri took charge but they are just one point adrift of safety.
