Liverpool, Fulham Come to Agreement to Bring Harvey Elliott Back to Anfield

Liverpool to pay Fulham Record-Breaking Fee for 16-year-old Harvey Elliott. Elliott joined Liverpool back in 2019, but were unable to come to an agreement on the transfer fee.

At the time, Fulham were asking for £8m; that number will now be closer to £4m with add-ons for this deal.

In an official statement from the west London club, a representative said they were “very pleased” with the outcome, thanking the Professional Football Compensation Committee.

‘A decision has been made regarding the compensation due to Fulham following Harvey Elliott’s move to Liverpool,” Fulham Football Club said in a statement on Twitter. “The award is a record amount for a 16-year-old and, in the circumstances, Fulham is very pleased and thanks the PFCC for its careful consideration of our case.”

 

In the reported numbers via Sky Sports, Liverpool will pay an initial fee of £1.5 million for Elliott, with another £2.8 million coming int he future based on his production and performance.

“We now look forward to welcoming Harvey back from his loan spell with Blackburn Rovers in the summer and helping him continue to build towards a long and successful career at Anfield,” Liverpool FC said in an official statement.
