Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack is confident his injury worries are now in the past as he looks to help the club climb the table.

Rovers, 4.33 to win the League One title, endured a slow start to the season, with two defeats in their first two games.

However, they have now won three of their last four league games and boss Tony Mowbray can also look forward to having Dack available.

The summer signing from Gillingham has endured a frustrating start to his career at Ewood Park due to a hamstring injury.

He played for an hour against AFC Wimbledon in the 1-0 defeat last weekend and the 23-year-old is confident he can “kick on now”.

Dack told iFollow Rovers: “It has been a little bit frustrating with the niggles picked up with my hamstring.

But hopefully the problem is now all sorted, I’ve had a couple of weeks rehab on it and I’m feeling ready to start.

“I had a full pre-season under my belt and didn’t pick up anything and then you go into the first game and you just feel it a little bit.

I managed to get back but then I felt it again so it was frustrating. “But now the problem is all sorted so hopefully I can kick on now.”

Dack will be hoping to play his part in Saturday’s trip to Shrewsbury Town, with the Shrews currently top of the League One table.
