Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that Real Madrid is lucky to have signed the midfielder from Borussia Dortmund this summer after seeing the English midfielder perform in their 3-2 comeback win over AC Milan on Sunday.
Real Madrid faced AC Milan in Los Angeles, but it was the Italians who opened the scoring through Fikayo Tomori before Luka Romero doubled before half-time.

However, Federico Valverde scored a quick brace in the 57th and 59th minutes of the game, Vinicius Junior completed the comeback win with six minutes left, but it is the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder who caught the attention of the Los Blancos boss.

“It is rare to find a player with this kind of quality. He is only 20, so he can improve. We are lucky to have him in our squad. He was fantastic. He has a lot of rhythm, moves well, and has quality finding open spaces.” Carlo Ancelotti said.

Bellingham made his Real Madrid debut after moving from Germany for £88M to Spain on a six-year contract, coming in as a second-half substitute in the 64th minute for teenager Paz Martinez.

The 20-year-old has 24 caps for the English national team and had around 150 appearances for the German club in three years after joining from Birmingham City in 2020. Real Madrid will face Manchester United, Barcelona, and Juventus next before their opening La Liga game against Athletic Club on August 12.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid has more youngsters on their roster, with Arda Güler also joining from Fenerbahce, while Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga continue to be a part of the team.

Jesus Vallejos was sent on loan to Granada, while Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard, and Mariano Diaz all were released. Fran Garcia and Joselu are the other players signed from the transfer window.
