Bayern Munich Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has revealed that the club Shotstopper Manuel Neuer has received the full support of the club.
According to reports last week, the German international was angry and frustrated when there were leaked details of his contracts to the public which increased rumors about his move to English Premier League side Chelsea.
The 34-year old however admitted that he had not reached a consensus with the club hierarchies regarding a new deal at the club, the Sporting director [Salihamidzic] has received that tensions between both parties had calm down as situation seems to be under control with the club fully backing Neuer.
Salihamidzic told reporters that Neuer knows the club appreciates him a lot for his tremendous services for the club so far as they look to keep the Veteran for years to come.
“There have been in-house clarifications and since we have no knowledge of any more arguments or dispute, I am sure we can proceed”.
During my playing years, I played with Oliver Khan, I know what it takes to make a world-class goalkeeper give his all to the team. So Neuer is a top goalkeeper. He is so much of value to us. So I hope he can continue with the club”. He added.
The Sporting Director also went on to confirm reports that Neuer will remain the first-choice goalkeeper in the coming season despite the arrival of Alexander Nubel from Schalke by the end of the season.
