With the transfer window left with a few weeks to spare, Bayern will now aim to work on some outgoing deals as some fringe players in the team will be looking to secure moves away from the Allianz Arena this season.

One out of the several fringe players that might be on the move this window is Joshua Zirkzee. The Netherland forward has been a subject of attraction from several clubs in Europe, with Premier League sides like West Ham and most especially Fulham pushing for a move. However, Fulham isn’t the only side interested in the move, as clubs within the Bundesliga have also shown interest and aiming for a move.

According to media sources in Germany, Stuttgart has been the latest side to contact Bayern Munich about securing a move for Zirkzee as they consider him a perfect fit to replace the outgoing Sasa Kalajdzic with the Austrian international set to exit the club with a year left on his contract.

The Bundesliga defending champions have now set their price rumored to be in the region of €20m for Zirkzee as this could spark a bidding war between who wants him most, with Fulham also in the mix looking to secure his services.

It will be interesting to see where the young forward eventually ends up plying his trade as he hopes to get regular first-team action after a successful loan spell with Belgian-based side Anderlecht last season.

Another factor to consider for Zirkzee’s exit is the arrival of Mathys Tel from Rennes, as this could further push him down the pecking order at Bayern this season. Hence the reason for him to seek a new adventure elsewhere.

Bayern resumes Bundesliga action at the weekend on matchday 2 as they welcome Wolfsburg in a bid to secure another victory.
