Serie A club Napoli revealed that Rafael Benitez will be the new manager this coming season.
The Spaniard will replace Walter Mazzarri and will help lead the Italian club in their attempt to topple Juventus in the league.
Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed the news via Twittter on Monday, but has yet to discuss the length of the deal.
Benitez has already managed an Italian club before, spending six months with Inter Milan before being sacked for poor performances.
However, after helping Chelsea rebuild and eventually win the Europa League, the 53-year-old has been picked up by the Naples club.
He has been linked to a move to big clubs like Paris Saint-Germain before this statement was released.
Napoli finished second behind champions Juventus in the table, and are part of the Champions League.
