Barcelona forward Neymar is looking forward to his side’s clash with Sevilla in La Liga on Sunday.

The two teams will head into the match at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan separated by just one point in the league standings, with Barca currently occupying second position and Sevilla fourth.

The Catalans giants have already beaten Los Rojiblancos this season, securing a 5-0 aggregate success in the Supercopa de Espana in August, a victory that included a 2-0 success in Andalusia.

Luis Enrique’s men are likely to face a much tougher proposition on Sunday however, as Sevilla have won all seven of their subsequent home matches, including a 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in their last league game on home soil.

Neymar, who did not play in Barca’s Supercopa success due to his participation at the Olympics, knows his side will have to be on the top of their game on Sunday, but he is relishing the prospect of taking on Jorge Sampaoli’s team.

“I am really looking forward to the match. It is going to be a really good game to play in, the kind of game that every player loves to be part of,” Neymar told Barca TV.

The Blaugrana have an impressive recent record against Sevilla, losing just one of the last 17 meetings between the two sides, although that defeat did come in the corresponding league fixture last season.

The reigning La Liga champions are available at 1.67 to win the match, while Los Rojiblancos are priced at 5.00 and the draw is on offer at 4.20.
