Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is adamant his team still have plenty of work to do as they try to claim the La Liga title this season.

Enrique’s men are two points ahead of rivals Real Madrid, with the two Spanish giants now fighting it out to lift the league trophy in May.

Current champions Atletico are nine points behind Barcelona after a disappointing campaign.

Barca – 1.30 to win the title – have five league games to play before the end of the season, with Getafe next up on Tuesday night.

They then face Cordoba, Real Sociedad, Atletico and Deportivo, while Madrid have a more difficult run in.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men take on Almeria, Sevilla, Valencia, Espanyol and Getafe as they bid to land the title for the first time since 2012.

Enrique admits his team’s run-in looks better on paper but is refusing to get carried away about his side’s chances.

Speaking about the rest of the campaign, Enrique told the club’s official website: “Our calendar looks good from afar, but then you have to go out and play the game.

“The five games left have their own challenges. The most important stretch is coming up.

“The most important thing is that we have survived another week and we still depend on ourselves. At this stage of the campaign, it’s all about the wins and points.”

Barcelona secured a 2-0 win over Espanyol last weekend and Enrique has a fully fit squad to choose from for the match against Getafe. Goals from Lionel Messi and Neymar ensured all three points, while Madrid secured a 4-2 win over Celta.
