Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin is hopeful his side can make it three FA Cup triumphs in a row this season.
The Gunners are bidding to become the first side since the 19th century to successfully win three straight titles in the competition, following their triumphs over Hull City in 2014 and Aston Villa 12 months later.
Blackburn Rovers were the last team to achieve the feat between 1884 and 1886, but the north London club remain on course to match that record following their 3-1 success against Sunderland in the third round on Saturday.
Spain Under-21 international Bellerin is confident his side are on the road to success once again and he says it is the goal of the entire club to record a historic third straight triumph.
He told reporters: “That is the goal of the whole team. We love this competition and the fans love this competition so we need to try and do our best. We are trying to get the third in a row.”
The Gunners face a busy second-half of the season, as they are also competing for glory in both the Premier League and Champions League, but the 20-year-old is confident they have enough strength within their squad to compete for glory on all fronts.
He said: “The legs are fine and we have shown that we have very good players on the bench also and the rotation helps us get good results.”
Arsene Wenger’s side are next in action on Wednesday when they travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool in the Premier League.
The league leaders are available at 2.40 to consolidate their position at the top of the standings with an away victory, whilst the Reds are on offer at 2.88 and the draw is priced at 3.30.
