Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana has revealed that he is ready to leave Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax any time soon.

The shot stopper has been tipped to move away from the Dutch giants with Chelsea as well as Barcelona interested in his signature.

The goalkeeper describes a move away from ajax where has been for four seasons since 2015 as taking a step.

He joined Ajax from Spanish La Liga side Barcelona and the Camp Nou side are interested in bringing him back with European elite teams Chelsea and Tottenham also linked.

The shot stopper has a running contract till 2022 but he has stated that he is ready to make a move

“Don’t get me wrong, I am very happy with Ajax and I am very grateful to the club, It was five great years here, but now my time has come to take a step. We made that appointment last year. I don’t yet know what will happen, but my ambitions and agreements are clear.” Onana was quoted on goal.

According to goalkeeper, camp Nou is still more or less like a home and a return to the La Liga is not out of place as he is still in good contact with the coaching staff and the club’s administrator in Barcelona.

Meanwhile, English Premier League side Chelsea are also interested in Onana as the club has lost faith in Kepa Arrizabalaga with reserve goalkeeper Willy Caballero not instilling confidence in the team coaches.

It is believed that hakim Ziyech who has signed for the Blues will be able to convince Onana to join him at the Stamford Bridge.

Onana joined Ajax in 2015 from Barcelona where he played youth football and he has managed 176 games for the team with 74 clean sheets.
