As AC Milan are about to confirm the transfer of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United, it’s no surprise that they have been in the transfer market to bolster their midfield.

Brahim Diaz is also facing some months on the treatment table, making it necessary for Diavolo to at least sign two midfielders – one of which could be Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea, as the announcement seems imminent.
Reports in Spain and Italy say Milan are in advanced negotiations with Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah in a deal that could be worth €20m plus bonuses.

There has been interest in the creative midfielder back several days, but the talks have now entered a new stage of discussions, with the determination to get it done quickly for the midfielder.
Valencia wants at least €30m for the midfielder, while Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano suggests a proposal worth €20m had been put forward.

Reports say both sides remain confident a deal can eventually be done for €25m, including bonuses and add-ons.
The United States International would be a valuable asset to Milan.

Milan could have signed the 20-year-old without taking up a valuable non-EU player slot in the squad.
Loftus-Cheek is expected to be in Italy on Thursday to complete his medicals and sign for Milan.

Since the interest in Musah is a top burner for the Rossoneri, they have now opened concrete talks with Valencia for his signature.

Milan was also linked with Loftus-Cheek’s teammate, Christian Pulisic, but they needed more concrete as their next direction could be forward.

They prefer Wolves winger Adama Traore to Pulisic because of his high price tag.

According to reports, their decision is that the American is vastly over-priced by Chelsea.

So, they hope to secure Adama Traore’s signature from Wolves and Lazio striker Luka Romero, who are both free agents.
