Former LA Lakers legend Magic Johnson has hailed LeBron James for his sublime form in the last few outings for the team in the past couple of weeks. James has played at the top of his game and he is single-handedly destroying the opposition with his skills. The Lakers have won five out of their last seven matches and a lot of credit goes to their talisman for their success.

In fact, James had recently scored 30 points in seven consecutive matches and had become the oldest LA Lakers player to achieve the milestone after Kobe Bryant. James was once again at his lethal best as he scored 35 points against Memphis Grizzlies but his superman efforts went in vain as his team lost by 127-119.

The talisman is currently averaging an astonishing 30.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game and there is no doubt that he has been the best player in the league since December.

“For the last three weeks, no one in the NBA has played better than LeBron James. He has more 30-point games than anybody this season with 18 and is averaging 30 points, 6 assists, 7 rebounds while shooting 52% from the field,” tweeted Magic Johnson.

Meanwhile, as Anthony Davis is out with an injury, LeBron James is carrying the team on his shoulders and he is mostly the lone warrior for the team. James would want more support from the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, Malik Monk and Dwight Howard.

LA Lakers currently have a 21-20 record and they are placed in seventh position in the Western Conference standings. The Lakers will next face Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night and they will look to get back to winning ways.
