Italian Serie A fans are set for another weekend of football action. Matchday 3 showcases top league side SSC Napoli goes up against UC Sampdoria on Saturday.

Napoli has had a mixed start this Season. An exciting opening day 4-3 away win against ACF Fiorentina was followed by an equally pulsating away loss to defending Champions Juventus FC with the same number of goals.

Napoli will be playing their first home game in this season at the Stadio San Paolo in Naples. Napoli Head Coach Carlo Ancelloti will be hoping to guide his players to their first home victory and get their league campaign back on track. The Partenopei will be praying for a more straight forward victory in front of their home fans. Club Captain Lorenzo Insigne will most likely lead the Neapolitans attacking line and will look to add to his two-goal tally scored on the opening day of the season. Goalkeeper Alex Meret will also be hoping for an uneventful day and look to the defensive pairing of Kostas Manolas and Kalidou Koulibaly to help him keep his first clean sheet of the season.

Napoli finished second last season and are aiming to upstage the Old Lady this year and hopefully win their 3rd Scudetto title.

Sampdoria, on the other hand, has had to endure a very tough start. After suffering a humiliating opening day 3-0 loss at home to SS Lazio, the side from Genoa fell to a 4-1 crushing away defeat to US Sassuolo.

Head Coach of Sampdoria Eusebio Di Francesco will be aiming to stop the early season run of bad games. He will first be looking to tighten up the defence which has conceded an alarming seven goals in 2 games. Sampdoria defensive duo Jeison Murillo and Omar Colley will be seeking an improved performance when they file out against Napoli on Saturday. In addition to that, Eusebio will be hoping his striker, Fabio Quagliarella can effectively lead the line and help the Blucerchiati claim an unlikely win.

Napoli are favoured to win and come up with their second win of the season.
