Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller, a player who has spent most of his entire playing career to date playing for the Bavarians but has not canceled plans of playing elsewhere in the summer.

The Germany international has not ruled out a move abroad ahead of the summer transfer window as his playing time at the Allianz arena wind up. He has been loyal to the club so far, making over 500 appearances for the German side.

However, there have been several rumors of late regarding his future away from the club. The 30-year old forward fell down the ranks under former manager Niko Kovac at the beginning of the 2018/2019 season and has been playing in the broader role than usual under the caretaker manager Hansi Flick since he took over.

There could be an element of truth in the rumors as they continue to surface; he has decided to try a new challenge by the end of the current season.

Muller has been previously linked with moves to England in the past with Manchester United keen on his signature. However, the English Premier League side might not need his services as he might be deemed too slow for the fast pace of the Premier League.

With his contract due to expire by next year [2021], decisions will have to be made by the club if they want to let him go. They could part with the forward as a gift for his long-standing and loyalty to the club. The forward had spent more extended periods together with the likes of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery before the duo left the club.

When quizzed by the media, Muller said his focus is to be successful with the club this season, and he will sit down to discuss with club hierarchy after the end of the season.

The Bundesliga resumes after the winter break as Bayern travels to Hertha Berlin in their bid to continue their title race in defense.
