Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi insists he will continue working hard to ensure he can keep getting a regular Premier League spot.

The 20-year-old broke on to the scene with Arsenal last season and has been heavily involved during the early stages of this term.

The winger appears to have struck up a promising relationship with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to become a key part of Arsenal’s attack.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has a wealth of options to choose from in attack, with Theo Walcott enjoying a good campaign, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also stepped up over recent weeks.

Iwobi admitted that he knows his place is not guaranteed and is keen to continue performing to a high standard.

“If you don’t do as well as you think you could have done, there are other players, other internationals, great players, that can just step in,” Iwobi told Arsenal’s website.

“So you just have to take the chance all the time and do your best when the time comes. The big thing is you need to stay fit and always need to give it your all.

“I mean, you’ve got to have the right attitude, you’ve got to be mentally prepared for whatever happens.

Not everything is going to be smooth sailing for you so you’ve got to be prepared for all conditions.”

Arsenal can be backed at 2.88 to claim a win when they return to Premier League action on Saturday while opponents Manchester United are priced at 2.50 to come out on top. The draw is available at 3.20.
