Defending champion Novak Djokovic will be the top seed at this year’s Wimbledon, with two-time champion Rafael Nadal the number 10 seed.

Djokovic, the 2.25 favourite for the title, tops the draw for the fourth successive year as he seeks a third consecutive Grand Slam final appearance of 2015, having won the Australian Open and finished as the runner-up in the French Open already.

Roger Federer, beaten by the Serb in last year’s final, is the second seed, ahead of home favourite and 2013 winner Andy Murray (3) and Stanislas Wawrinka (4), who won the French Open to claim the second major title of his career earlier this month.

Kei Nishikori, Tomas Berdych, Milos Raonic, David Ferrer and Marin Cilic complete the top 10 for this year’s Championship at Wimbledon.

Nadal, who claimed the title at SW19 in 2008 and 2010, was seeded sixth at the French Open and received an unfavourable draw as he had to take on Djokovic in the last eight, where he lost in straight sets to the world number one.

The Spanish star faces a similarly tough task at Wimbledon as he could be set on a quarter-final collision course with either Djokovic, Federer or Murray, while Nishikori, Berdych, Raonic and Ferrer are all potential last 16 opponents ahead of Friday’s draw.

The seeds reflect the ATP rankings but performances on grass are also taken into consideration, and Nadal fell at the fourth round at SW19 last year to Nick Kyrgios.

Nadal is 13.00 to win the 2015 Wimbledon title, Murray is available at 3.50 and Nishikori is 26.00.
